Cher Shackleton creates wood-fired and salt-glazed ceramics from her studio in the South West of Western Australia.
Her vessels, sculptural forms and installations draw on the coast, weathered ground and the vast Australian landscape. Each work is formed by hand and transformed over days in the kiln, as flame, ash and salt leave their own record on the clay.
